Best Cabin Getaway in Wisconsin! We have always wanted to get away to Justin Trails Resort when in Wisconsin. We had the chance recently and had a great time. This 200 acre family farm has the amazing land stewards of Don, Donna & Dawn Justin. There have miles and miles of walking/hiking trails, llamas, chickens and more on-site amenities. They also have what I feel is two of the best disc golf courses in Wisconsin. We stayed in their newest room the Sunrise Cottage. A very spacious two bedroom suite. All the wood in the room came right from their forest. They are also kid friendly and we brought our 7 month old baby along. Highly recommended for a great getaway, anniversary and special occasion.

There’s no place like home, so if you’re going to compare any hotel stay to home, you’ll probably come up short and find something to complain about. Donna does an exceptional job of trying to make her guests feel comfortable and welcome, which she and we did. We had a family member die in the Sparta area, and Donna was very accommodating to our unplanned visit and stay. The breakfast was excellent, “The Cottage” cozy, and our overall experience wonderful, although we didn’t have time to enjoy the atmosphere of the grounds.

Had my wedding here. It was everything we wanted. Our family could stay on sight, and all the rooms were comfortable and clean. The jacuzzis in the rooms were so relaxing after all the wedding festivities. It’s perfect for nature lovers looking for a peaceful retreat. Donna is very accommodating, and you can tell she’s hosted many weddings. In the short amount of time we stayed, we created so many memories we will cherish forever.

My wife and I chose this place to have our elopement wedding. Their elopement package included the officiant who was Suzie West from Weddings By West, and the required witnesses who happened to be our hosts, Donna and Don. We booked the queen suite for our stay which was absolutely perfect, with a large tub Jacuzzi in the room across from the electric fireplace. The resort is basically a hidden gem, it is quite literally hidden away. The scenery is breathtaking and the ambience is something to behold, with only the sound of nature and nothing else. When you live in or near the city, you get used to the noise. The silence here was beautiful. The resort is very cozy, and the hosts are such sweet folks, Donna is a sweetheart and makes homemade breakfast for the guests every morning. We were very happy with the way we were treated and could not ask for a better experience at the Justin Trails Resort. I could go on and on about our wonderful experience here, but words will never describe it quite right. I highly recommend it here, and get you some of those mugs, they're so nice!!

I stayed for a group meeting in the middle of winter. It was beautiful and peacefull. I was lucky enough to get a tour of the property and learn more about thier amazing story. I can't wait to come back in the summer and walk the trails and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The owners and staff were super friendly and the room was quaint and had the amenities I wanted.

Justin Trail Resort is a unique experience different from any other resort we’ve visited. You are welcomed by Don and Donna, the owners and made to feel at home immediately. Each cabin or cottage has its own unique style. Ours was so comfy; we got the best nights sleep! The breakfasts we had every morning were amazing. Donna goes out of her way to make them delicious and nutritious. She gave us great suggestions of places to visit and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay.

this is a great location with wonderful service. It was very dog friendly. We were able to bring our dog and have lots of time with our dog off leash on our walk. it was beautiful and restful and I was able to get some of my reading writing done, as well as taking some very nice walks, and seeing some beautiful views. We had one evening where we had a little dog play date in the llama pen. The only drawbacks were the heat, which was a bit much for us, but not the fault of the location and the shortness of our stay, which was only because we planned last minute. My husband could've use some jam and toast and regular eggs. The food was organic lots of choices. It was all very tasty, but my husband is a bit of a regular eater. he needed his familiar flavors because he's very picky.
